Definition of spam: ANY message (Private Message (PM) or otherwise) that is sent unasked for. This includes, but not limited to, posting on visitor message boards of and sending friend requests to new members. To report a post or PM that is spam just click the

icon in the bottom left corner of the post or PM and enter a description of why it's spam. It will not be revealed who submitted the spam report.

The Consequences of Spamming

There's a two strike system now in place. The first time you are reported you will serve a temp ban and have an infraction placed on your profile. The second time you get reported you will serve a LONGER temp ban and have a permanent infraction on your profile. The THIRD time your reported for spam you will be permanently banned FLR.

If you are placed on a temp ban for spam, your trade thread will ALSO be locked! There is no reason for your thread to be bumped if your not even here to trade and bump other users that ARE here off page one

Now to clarify what is and what is NOT considered spam. I will go over as many scenerios as I can to cover all the needs to be covered.

Break Room, Lunch Packing, Announcements, Tutorials, and the rest of the forum that new traders some times post in. If the new trader makes a post asking a general question, asking for help, or anything else...DO NOT PM THEM! Just reply with your answer in their post.

Now if they make their post and state yes you may PM me on this matter, question, or subject then you are free to PM them.

Paying For Referals and Green4Green trade threads. If a new person posts in your thread stating they want to work with you or would like your help, YES you can PM them.

As it has been stated before, if they dont ask to be PMd then simply do NOT PM them and you will have nothing to worry about!

hello, is everything okey with you? anything you need?

because ive been greeting people like this and some of them did need help, like this one guy wants to move to CA and i live in CA and i told him that gas prices are goin up and so is our morgage so i told him to save lots of $$$ he said thanx and he also had no idea..

now im being accused of spamin with freebie? HOW?! if i didnt send my link to any random person.. i send them to those that are looking for work..

So today is my first full day here, and I've only interacted with one trader that was at my request. Several other offers have hit my PM box and at this point none of them have a TR rating. How should I be reporting this?

Oh Man!!

I just found a site that has a bunch of neat welcome smilies and I love welcoming new people -- just a plain simple welcome and now others had to ruin that by spamming newbies in the 1st day forum.

Oh well -- I guess a bad seed does ruin the whole apple!!

Sorry you had to lock that forum -- especially since it is/was a good place for new people to make their first trial post in.

I just don't get spamming people -- maybe that's why I never get responses and few trades. But that's ok with me.

If you receive a pm from someone and it is reported as spam, does the person, can the person know or find out who reported them? Just wondering? I'm not the type that starts trouble and I don't want to.
