what i am talking about is for some sites which did before, i had no aware it, some sites are even proven legit sites, if i did not do it, i even don't know this could happen, of couse i did not give my newbies to try them again, who will put our newbies to a hard position? what i am mentioning here is not what we should give our newbies to do or not, it's the issue that the sites should do something to settle this. if the affiliate won't accept it, then they can continue eating up the refs' money without giving credit? is this fair to you or to all the refs? some people said it's not because of the sites, it's because of the affiliates, but why some sites can do better, but some are worse? i won't send my refs to those kind of sites any more, but need to say something about some terrible crediting thing!

I have only had a couple of traders not go green or have to do extra offers, and in the end we figured out they had something set up wrong on their computer or some other reason. It's your choice to send them there. So if you are upset they don't accept MCR's why send them.

That's the correct policy. Use the free market to your advantage. Sites have the absolute right to set any policy regarding MCRs that they want. And you have the absolute right to send your referrals to any site you want. If you want to change the a specific site's policy, however, you'll need to tell them of your decision and the reasons behind it. If they care, they'll explain why they've chosen not to accept MCRs--fraud, revocations, quack quack quack. The appropriate response to this is to simply state that you're not particularly interested in WHY they've made the decision--what matters to you is the fact THAT they've made the decision. They have competitors who have not made that decision. Regretfully, you've chosen to go with their competitor, who has somehow managed to overcome their concerns about MCRs. It's all Economics 101.

--Ken

P.S. It's not really fair for you to complain that one of your sites changed policies without you knowing about it. The sites we use are similar to the products on the shelves of our stores. It's really our responsibility to keep track of this sort of thing. If we're not able to filter out the unfavorable ones to protect our referrals, what are we doing to earn our money?-ks

Smile My thoughts that are unfair for the trader!

Cashing out on 1 referral is safer from fraud then waiting for 2,3 or more and find out someone frauded you.
So you paid them now you have to go through trouble to get the money back which I can only say goodluck. Every site should have the option to cashout on 1 referral.
Or Verify the darn credits before posting them completed.
thanks
Jaylee

People can have mixed feelings about this but with the technology the way it is fraud should not be of any concern with MCR's

I can understand much of what`s being said and I`m not new to this but I`ve been working on a site for about a month now and still do not have my credit from them b/c when I do an offer and not recieve my credit I put in a support ticket with a confirmation email and all they tell me is that when the merchant notifies them then I`ll recieve my credit but yet it never happens. I have spent more than I`ll be recieving just to complete offers that I`m not recieving credit for and have done so many for this 1 site that I`m almost out of offers and the others I can`t even afford to do. All of the offers I have done have charged my card and some haven`t even sent a confirmation email or gave me my credit. I think that if you have a confirmation email and send that in you should recieve your credit and it should be the sites responsibility to deal with the merchants on why they aren`t notifying the site of the completion of an offer. Basically you can do an offer, spend your money, recieve a confirmation email and still not recieve your credit. Things like that are just going to give a bad rep and that hurts everyone. Offers that won`t credit should be removed from whichever site they are on so ppl aren`t being cheated out of their money. Just my opinion since I`m dealing with that now

What is "Credit request manually?" cant seem to find the answer unless it's called something different but means the same.
Need to know so i don't make a mistake in the near future.

Thanks in advance

-James

Smile I agree with you!

When I first started it was ok to ask for manual requests. Believe me that was done alot. I never tried to fraud or do same offers. I got email confirmations and charged, sent to support of IFW site and they communicated with me a little and I got credit. If it wasnt for some of the manual credit requests I wouldnt have greened on half of them.
I understand fraud but something else needed to be done other than not allowing manual credits.

thanks
jaylee
