True, you can do this using many many programs, but for those who don't have a program, this is their best option without having to go and get something else.

I'd also like to add...We all know the hard work put into creating your own graphics to be used in various threads throughout the forum. It is now also recommended that you watermark those as well. They are not safe either.

Some people think that they can come and just take whatever they want just because it is posted. WELL IMO THAT IS ABSOLUTELY WRONG!!!! So the only way to protect our hard work, is to watermark those now as well. Yes, it will take away from the graphic, but I can see no other way to keep our hard work as our own.

It is sad that we are forced to do this and then work side by side those that choose to just take things and use them as their own, AND GET AWAY WITH IT! But I will not sit silent. I will fight for my right to use my graphics as mine and not let others just take them without permission.

And as most of you know, all you have to do is ask. And I'll do something for you too as I have for several others throughout the forum already.

I agree. We work very hard on our trade threads, thread titles and signatures. It sucks when other members just take from others instead of using their own imagination and comming up with something that is original.

DITTO to that kdshaw! We all work way to hard to get our own niche here. To develop our own personal themes for others to just come in and grab and use w/o permission. Then when they do get caught, they are given the change to edit on their own free will, yet when we post about it a mod comes in and edits out what we post. Catering to the cheats around here is so obvious I actually have cried over this matter, more than once.

yes I saw that too! It takes all kinds but they usually do not last long in here. There are far too many of us looking out for one other. I love this place!
