How to WaterMark PhotoBucket Images

Due to the recent discoveries of fraudulant postings of Proof Pics I feel an additional method of protecting ourselves has become neccessary.

I'd also like to add...We all know the hard work put into creating your own graphics to be used in various thread throughout the forum. It is now also recommended that you watermark those as well. They are not safe either. Some people think that they can come and just take whatever they want just because it is posted. WELL IMO THAT IS ABSOLUTELY WRONG!!!! So the only way to protect our hard work, is to watermark those now as well.

This tutorial will show you how to add a watermark to your pics that you have uploaded to PhotoBucket without breaking it's link. Once you save your work, your Trophey Case image will also be updated with your changes automatically! How cool is that?!?!

Step One:
Log into your PhotoBucket account and open the folder you have previously stored your images in.
Choose the image you would like to edit, then click on EDIT.



Step Two:
Once the Photo Editing page opens up. Click on the Decorate tab at the top.



Step Three:
Click on the Text button.



Step Four:
Now you are ready to enter your FLR Screen Name.
1~ Type your FLR Screen Name into the text box.
2~ Adjust the size of the text by moving the little green boxes to fit your image. You can also change it's
angle by rotating the text with the round arrow at the top of the text box.
3~ Check the Transparant box. The Transparant Backround box should automatically become checked
when you check Transparant.
4~ Select the Font you would like to use.



Step Five:
Click on the Layers Tab.



Step Six:
Although it may not be fully visible as in my screenshot below, Click on the Opacity Button



Step Seven:
Here you will be able to lighten your screen name so that it will blend in with your original image.
1~ Slide the Opacity Button down towards 0% until you feel it is light enough. Visible, but does
not impede the viewing of your accomplishment.

2~ Now click on Replace Original on the bottom right.



Your Finished Product should look as such:



And your already uploaded image in the Trophey Case will also reflect the changes you have just made.
This can also be done to all images before you post them as well.
