Hi everyone,

I'm writing this because I think newer and even some older users desperately need to understand a few things. These are all points that often times traders do not touch up upon when they are swapping referral links and etc. I would for members to start sending users here or maybe just copying and pasting the information here. Trust me, it will yield higher conversion rates. Okay, here we go.

How does crediting work exactly?
- Crediting is done by pixels and cookies. That's why it's important to clear your cookies before you head to completing offers so the cookie can be deposited and detected easily. There are three major cookies involved. One is placed when you sign in at a freebie site. That's your tracking cookie. Then, one is placed for when you click an offer, sites/publishers can see your clicks because of the cookie. And finally, a cookie is placed when you successfully get to the order confirmation page.

So, when do I clear my cookies?
- Clear your cookies after you login to the freebie site BUT you have to refresh afterwards and log back in. I can't stress this enough. SO many people think they clear and then click the offers, THIS IS WRONG. If you just clear and then complete, it looses the cookie that tracks your site/owner. So how does the company/affiliate know where to give credit to? They don't.

Recap:
Clear your cookies, REFRESH, log back in, and then do the offer.

What happens if my credit card gets denied or I get an error or blank page?
- Error pages whether they be blank, credit card denials or a miscellaneous error most always mean you will not get credit. Like I said above, you have to access the order confirmation page to receive that last cookie so you can get credit. DO NOT refresh or redo the offer under any circumstances. Sometimes you'll see a pending charge on your credit card but t hat should drop off in 3-5 business days if you received an error page.

If I receive an error page, am I a member at that offer's company?
- Sometimes, some sites enroll you somehow but some don't. The best way to do it is either try to login or just call to find out. You'll be glad you did.

Tips:

-Don't always pick the $1 or cheap trials. They are often times the worst crediting offers just to the sheer fact that the company might be shady or uncooperative. I'm not even going to preach about how you should pick offers that interest you because you should already know that.

- Do not use a prepaid credit card. Just don't do it, it's ruined the industry thus far and explaining the obvious reasons will just lead to more people doing it.

- Sign up on sites and offers with YOUR real information. This is a no brainer and even a fake phone number on a freebie site or offer site can get you disqualified or revoked. You are signing up for offers so the company can make a sale, of course they are going to call you. That's the terms you're accepting when you sign up so don't try to cheat it.

That's all I can think about for now, however, if anyone has any other great ones, I will add them.

Thank you so much for posting this. I will send my referrals here. Although I do disagree about the dollar offers. I think the "standard" ones that have been around awhile are really good offers, and as far as I know, they have been crediting really well. I did 4 of them and like 2 well enough to keep and still have.

You're right, it's not all of them but generally, people go through and just pick the first two $1 offers. I don't mean to make a list or anything but I've found that crediting problems are more frequent with those offers. I appreciate your input! :)
