The Official Guide To FLR Success! (Explained)

Now that I picked a trader, what site do I pick?

Pick out a site from your traders thread, and click on it to view the offers. You will be able to make sure you can complete the site before contacting them. You can also view the sites Terms of Service and make sure you are able to do it. This will also tell you the rules for the site. Typically the rules are simple. Only sign up for things that interest you. Don't try any offer more then once. Don't cancel your service early. You can only have one account is allowed per household.

Always sign up with your own accurate information. Pretending to be someone else or using false information will get you banned from the entire industry.

There are freebie sites run by FreeLunchRoom which are guaranteed by FreeLunchRoom so you know you'll be paid! The list of sites run by FreeLunchRoom can be found here.

Spam?

Will I get a lot of spam for signing up with these offers? Not normally, but you could. It is useful to set up an email just for freebie trading. This way you can have one email that is used solely for the purpose of trading. Your regular email will not be mixed up with the offer information this way. You can sign up for a free Gmail or Yahoo email account.

Check the Offer Weights

Before you begin a site, you'll be able to access the "offers list" through your traders trade thread. Each site posted should be linked to view the offers. There you can gauge if you want to complete the offers on the site. On each offers page you'll see tons of offers. As your looking at them, you'll notice that each one is weighed differently. Some IFW Sites have the offers broken down into fractions, and some have them broken down into decimals. This is what they can look like.

Here they are shown in decimals

Here they are shown in fractions

While you are viewing the offers from the view offers page, You will also see that if you hover your mouse over an offer, you can see a more detailed description about what is required in order to receive credit for completing that offer

Using this information you should be able to easily find a site that you want to complete. You can search for something worth a full credit that interests you and then ask your trader for that site, or maybe there are 2 half credit offers that would equal the 1 credit you need. Make sure to ask your trader before you start what the site offer requirements are if it's not noted in their thread. This way you'll know exactly what will be expected before you start!

Each site has its own Terms of Service (TOS)

You will want to read it on each site before you sign up to make sure you understand the rules of using their site. Usually it's at the bottom of the page you are using to sign up on. Sometime they are combined with the privacy policy or other policies or in the FAQs.

The Terms and Conditions page will always tell you exactly what you can or can not do for that site. The key rules that will always be true for every site is you need to be 18 to participate and you can only have one account per household (not computer, every computer in your house will identify your household so don't sign up under yourself as your cat, dog, brother, husband or wife... or anyone for that matter) If more then one person that uses your IP address signs up on a site it will cause you to go on hold.

If you are in college and using the internet connection there to do this and you share the internet connection, this could also cause problems. Make sure to only do offers from your household computer. So you will not be able to do this from any shared network. This means you can't do it from the library, dorm, Starbucks, etc. You will need to always use your own personal connection.

Which sites not to sign up for

As with traders, you have to take the same caution when choosing a site. There are banned networks from FreeLunchRoom and those sites are not listed with a subforum and are not allowed to be traded on the forum.
