When you first start posting you'll notice a title under your avatar. Everyone starts out as a "Lunchable" the more you post, the higher your number will go, at these "milestones" you'll see your title change

30 - Brown Paper Bag ............................1500 - FLR Addict
100 - Paper or Plastic? ..........................2000 - Golden Lunchbag
500 - Bagging My Own Lunch .................5000 - Platinum Lunchbox
1000 - Loyal Luncher ..............................7000 - I really like posting!

Before you start posting on the forum, you will want to stop in and read the rules. Each section of the forum has its own rules. You'll actually see that laws of common sense apply to most of them. The main ones to focus on are these. You can find the full list of rules here.


  • Once you start Chapter 2, you are not to contact members that you don't already have an established relationship with. If you have a question, you can contact a moderator or administrator about your concerns. You need to be contacted first before you can contact new members for trades.
  • You will see a section called "Lunch Theft" this is where we try to work out problems between traders. Do not post there unless you are directly involved in a situation that is happening.
  • If you are posting in the welcome thread, make sure you quote a new member from that day (or recent) and then say your welcome note to them. If you want to welcome more then one trader there, there are instructions for multiquoting in the first post on that thread.
  • When creating your trade thread, you are only allowed to have one treade thread. There are a few more listed, but those are the basics.




In the FLR Announcements and News you'll find updates and new information from the staff of FreeLunchRoom.

Under that you will see FLR Forum Support. If you are having a technical problem with something on the forum, you can go there and create a new thread and have members help you with your problem. Never be afraid to post if you have a question or concern. The community is here to help you out!

As you are viewing these threads, you will envelopes out beside the threads, this is what they mean.




The next section of the forum you will come to is the Having Fun & Socializing. You will see many members hanging out in there, playing games, and posting on a variety of topics. There is an announcements section, so if your going out of town you can post that you'll be gone those days.




You'll see that in the Trophy Case, many people have posted pictures of their payouts and prizes. You can also know that people will be checking that section out to see if this system work! You can post a congrats message on the threads in there or post your own thread when you get a payout!

The next section of the forum is called "Getting Down to Business"




Here you will find the section called Introductions and Welcomes. If you open that section you'll see a brief introduction to the moderators and administrators on the forum. In the welcome thread you can quote a new member and welcome them personally.

You will see a section called "Freebie Help" in that area there is a Going Green Help, Paying for Referrals Help, and Trading for Referrals Help. If you have a question there a subforum for you to go to ask for help or to look and see what questions are posted and answer them.

The next area we come to is one we covered during Chapter 2, the Trading Area.




Trading green for green, thats where you post or look if you wanting to green for someone in exchange for them greening. Paying for referrals, that is where you post if you want to pay for greens, or where you search in order to get paid for greens. The sell your lunch thread, that is where you can sell whatever you want, books, clothes, whatever - just an area where you can find deals and offer some yourself. Then there is the Lunch Theft section. This is where traders post when they have a problem with another trader. For instance say someone went green, and trader is refusing to pay the right amount. They would post in this area in order to get help from a moderator with their case.

Next you will see some sections with sites listed out. This is where the site owners (the IFW Sites that you did offers on) have their section on the forum. If ever you have a problem or question with the site, you are just one step away from being in contact with their owner since they have their thread right here!




You can check out each site and look for payment proofs and promotions every month in their sections here. You can also post questions to other users or the sites staff!

The last section on the forum is referred to as OMMO (Other Money Making Opportunities)




If you need to contact a moderator or admin, you can go to the bottom of the home page and click "View Forum Leaders" and see who is online at that moment.
